Description: Offered is a fascinating and essentially complete reptile from the Late Permian of Madagascar, which is preserved in fine detail: an articulated example of the aquatic lizard-like reptile Barosaurus besairiei Piveteau, 1955.At 19cm (along axis) this is a good sized specimen.
