The added thickness over .080 or .060 creates a SOLID shell that performs like ARMOR for your Blade! The extra thickness adds better Retention and a solid Lockup when Knife is put away. The .060 and .080 works well with sheaths, but limited in protection and functionality. A Kydex sheath made with .093 thick kydex completes the Sheath making it NOT only functional with excellent retention, but also added insurance as an Armor Case that protects the tool you rely on for survival. EYELETS The long barrel style is a step up in barrel length of the Standard. Recommended Eyelet Size. This creates a thicker flange when pressed and a much stronger assembly of the sheath.
