Description: Ernst Wahliss Alexandra Porcelain Works Art Nouveau Maiden Statue Figurine Circa 1905 Large Ernst Wahliss / Alexandra Porcelain Works Art Nouveau statue of a classical maiden in flowing green and pink robes, holding bouquets of pink roses on a reticulated base with additional applied roses. Has a partial mark for Alexandra Porcelain Works Made in Austria Turn Royal Vienna on the base in red. Also impressed Made in Austria 4731 and 473 410 in red. Ernst Wahliss died in 1900. The factory was renamed Alexandra Porcelain Works around 1905.His son Gerhard Martin Wahliss took over the factory and became owner in 1907/1910. Her head has been broken off and professionally restored. There is a chip to her crown. The end of her little finger on her left hand had been restored and has since chipped again. She has some chips to the leaves in her bouquets and there are several small chips around the base. Measures approximately 26 inches tall x 10 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. AUBX
