Description: Two volumes in a dark blue cloth slipcase published in 2018 by the Skarstedt Gallery in New York for two separate exhibitions on the paintings of the artist Eric Fischl. The interiors of the books are in NEW condition, clean and free of markings. The boards are ‘like new’ condition except for one small bump and blemish to the top corner of the spine on “Presence of an Absence” that I have shown in the photographs. The blue cloth slipcase shows slight soiling but is otherwise in very good condition. On one side of the slipcase is printed “Late America “ and on the other side is printed “Presence of an Absence”. Both volumes reproduce paintings and details of the paintings along with photographic studies for the paintings. Both have selected solo exhibition listings as well as selected bibliographic information. Essays by Martin Gayford and Julie L. Belcove. The books and slipcase will be carefully bubblewrapped, securely packaged in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped from New York.
