Product DescriptionEpiphone Kirk Hammett Greeny 1959 Les Paul Standard Overview 1959 Les Paul Standard, also known as Greenie. 1959 Les Paul, a guitar that has come a long way over the years, must have its own history. This Greenie was used by Peter Green when he was with Fleetwood Mac, then by Gary Moore as a member of Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist for 30 years. Now, it is owned by Kirk Hammett, and is a superb Les Paul that three legendary guitarists have each played with their own feelings, and each of their feelings have been carried over to the guitar. This particular guitar, developed in close collaboration between Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop, was inspired by Kirk's legendary original guitar. It features two Gibson USA Greeniebucker pickups, reverse mounted on the neck side, Switchcraft pickup selector, 1/4 output jack, CTS potentiometer, Mallory capacitor, and spade-style Grover Rotomatic tuners. The neck joint is also reproduced with a deep joint. The unique faded greeny color is finished with an aged gloss finish for a vintage look. And although this is a limited release as a signature model, there is no Kirk Hammett mark anywhere on it. The case comes with Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop logos and a vintage-style hardshell case with pink interior and brown exterior.
