Description: Enicar Waterproof Ultrasonic Men’s Wristwatch, Raised Logo, 25 Jewels This is a great looking dress-type watch I’ve had for many years, but have hardly worn. Do look carefully for the differences between this original Swiss watch and the plethora of also-rans from various countries. The raised logo on the dial and the detailing/plating on the movement set this apart as a real Swiss made Enicar. I believe this watch was unworn when I purchased it many years ago. I added a reproduction Enicar bracelet and have worn it a few dozen times. The crown, dial and movement are signed. It has a beautiful, subtle, starburst pattern on the dial. It winds freely and keeps decent time. There is a little wear – it is not a “mint” watch. Some aging on the dial, but not much. It is a good, honest, vintage Enicar with little use. It does have a raised “diving” crystal which has some scratches near 7 o’clock. These are possibly the start of some small cracks, but I honestly cannot tell. It is a manual wind movement. To ensure it works well I have wound it every night for 90 days and it runs very well and keeps ok time sitting on my dresser. I just reset it when I wind it daily. I see this as an excellent example of an Enicar sport/dress watch without the bulk of their “real” diving watches. I could wear this every day. I’ve owned it long enough it should be serviced, but if you continue to wear it for a few years I expect it will still perform well. All sales are final.
