The verso (reverse side) is blank. The images on the print are of an exceptional quality and detail. Its' text is in German. The lithograph illustrates the following fashions : a) Noble Women - London (1590) b) Merchant and Wife, London (1590), Officer c) Merchant's Wife - London (1590), Servant Woman, Townswoman d) Townswoman - England (1640), Lady in Street Dress, Lord Mayor's Wife, Matron The entire piece measures: 13-3/8" x 17" (34 x 43,2cm). This large sheet is folded in the middle. It was once bound in book form and bears evidence of this along the fold at the back, where the paper is thinned just below the centerfold seam, although when laid flat, this is not visible from the front. The paper is tanned due to age but is clean and the colors are bright. Two 1/8" tears to the edges have been repaired from the back with a thin, archival quality paper tape. There is no foxing (little brown age spots). Odor-free. Smoke-free. Overall condition is: VERY GOOD. VERY SCARCE find! This is an original, NOT a reproduction.
