Description: Sculpture by James Earle Fraser entitled "End Of The Trail.” This is by the same artist who designed the buffalo nickel. This statue is made using heavy bronze casting production technique. It features an Indian on horseback with intricate details and a stunning western theme. No defecta or chips. Spear in good condition too. Lots of these don’t include the spear. Measures 8.5" in length, 10.25" in height, and 4.5" in width. Fraser created the original version of the work in 1894, and he subsequently produced numerous replicas in both plaster and bronze. The sculpture depicts a weary Native American man, wearing only the remains of a blanket and carrying a spear. He is hanging limp as his weary horse with swollen eyes comes to the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
