Covers have wear at spine ends, with a bit of loss to fabric at top rear corner of spine; wear to tips of corners with boards a bit exposed; bumping along bottom edges; rubbing to spine titles. Dust jacket has wear & chipping at spine ends & at corners; wear along flap folds & spine edges; a couple of small punctures along front edge of spine; soiling & minor staining to front & rear panels; soiling & discoloration to spine; toning to flap edges; front flap clipped at bottom corner. DJ comes protected by new, archival cover. A bit worn, but still an attractive copy of Willingham's first novel, about students faced with an ethical dilemma in a military college in the southern United States.
