He studied with and assisted Inosanto for more than 13 years, mastering his skills and trav- eling extensively, both nationally and internationally, while serving as Dans personal assistant for seminars and public exhibitions. In 1982, he was one of the first students to be awarded the prestigious title of Full Instructor in Jeet Kune Do. For more than 35 years, Chris Kent has been intimately involved in Jeet Kune Do and is recognized as one of the few people who has total compre- hension of the art and philosophy, including what is referred to as the "style-less style." As one of the preeminent torchbearers of the art around the world, he remains at the forefront of perpetuating Jeet Kune Dos art and philosophy, and is considered by many to be one of the most knowledgeable instructors in the world.
