If you want to mount it to an Appleton/Emerson box or other, you just need to widen the 4 mounting holes 1 notch with a step bit or drill bit. We chose these receptacles because we have both Appleton and Killark boxes, so these worked great for us, when we needed them. These are extra stock, purchased earlier this year, NOT old shelf items.
