Description: I was fortunate enough to work at EMD when they were retiring folks early and tearing down the main factory. These brochures came from a retiree who saved EVERYTHING. He had tons of stuff, much of which I'm just starting to go through after 25 years. Most everything he had was brand new stored in file folders. In some cases he had multiples, in others, just one copy. These brochures were created around 1948. Many shrimp boats utilized Cleveland Diesel Engines at that time. The brochures were created by the General Motors Florida Diesel Engine Sales office in Jacksonville, Florida. Center folds have side profiles of the boats.Both brochures are in new condition with no issues.These brochures came from an estate of an original Cleveland Diesel employee who moved to LaGrange back in the early 1960's. He kept all of his materials in file folders in his home office. How this one was saved from the dumpster is way beyond me.I am listing most of my very rare EMD, Cleveland Diesel, and Winton Engine related literature over the next couple months in anticipation of a move.I will ship this USPS Priority Mail with full insurance.
