This contains a ton of surprises not listed on the sleeve. The radio dj from 1967 comes in and out between some songs. Most of the versions of songs used are not the usual ones. The slightly extended Santa Claus Is Back In Town is unique to this CD! Background music has been added behind the DJ in a few instances. You may recognize it :-) I just have to say, this is a really fun CD to have on. I have done a lot of soundtrack albums, and while the covers are pretty "creative" I hope, the content is dictated by the movie. In this case, I got to be a little more creative with the actual contents. And while I hope everyone likes the artwork, I think (and hope) you will also really enjoy the content of this "special radio presentation"! (I have honestly been playing it on repeat for 2 days. Even the slow ones like Silent Night and Bethlehem seem to work better in this setting--for me. My personal favorite of Elvis' Christmas songs is not on this CD--Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees. I wanted to "keep spirits bright" and stuck with mostly the happy ones! Although there may be a hidden bonus track or two...) These were not originally intended for sale but for private use. But a lot of fans like the new covers and asked me to make them available, so I offer them here now. If you are collector of Elvis CDs--purely on their aesthetics, this is a good-looking addition to any collection.
