Most of Presley's signatures are here, particularly from his glorious early years (the first ten tracks are all from 1955-1957), but the second half of the compilation skews ever so slightly to his oversized show-stoppers, which means this gives a lasting impression of Elvis the Vegas headliner instead of Elvis the rocker, and whether that's a problem or not is all a matter of taste.
