To qualify the record must never have been played or is still sealed. Near Mint (NM) The record and sleeve is nearly perfect. (NM) Has no imperfections during playback. The record should have no signes of wear. The sleeve can have minor imperfections but no splits, folds or scratches. Very Good Plus (VG+) The record will show signs that it has been played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects of cosmetic nature does not affect playback. But the sound quality should play perfectly. Sleeves might have slight wear with small seam split or folded corners. In general the record plays perfectly but has some aesthetic wear to the sleeve or inlay. Very Good (VG) The records defects will be more pronounced.
