Description: Antique Elmira Glass Company American Brilliant Cut Carafe Pattern 17 Rare This is a Fantastic Elmira American Brilliant Cut Carafe in Pattern #17. This is a Rare Find. This is Antique Glass dating to the very early 1900s. The Elmira Glass Company was from Corning, NY, and it operated from 1903 until 1914. They bought some of their blanks from Doflinger and Pairpoint. It seems the company numbered all of their patterns. The Carafe is about 120 years old and it is in Excellent Condition. The Glass is extremely clear and sparkly. The cuts are deep and sharp. The Carafe measures about 7” tall, 2.75” across its rim and 6.5” wide at its widest point. It is a Heavy Carafe weighing over 4 lbs. This would be a fine addition to any American Brilliant Cut collection. Please magnify the pictures for the details. They are part of the description.
