Description: The late Elmer Kelton dedicated this first edition of 1992's SLAUGHTER to Kevin Barry "One writer to another". Indeed, there is an Irish author by that name, but I am unsure if their paths crossed. So this can only be a possible "association" copy. Nice crisp book. Pages 135-145 have a small "crimp" on the top of the page where the corner of another book might have impacted. No tears. Straight and solid spine, although a small amount of separation at the top of the book of the page backs from spine can be seen, which often happens when a finger is hooked over the top of a book to pull it from the shelf. No bookplates or ownership writing. A first edition, first printing from 1992. Buyer pays $5.25 for boxed media rate postage.
