Worked in Victorian cross-stitch on a single piece of 10-mesh Zweigart canvas (no seams or joins) using Appleton wools in the correct kit colors. Background is black. The rug measures 24.5 inches by 39.5 inches. Back canvas margins are bound with cotton twill binding tape; edges are bound with Appleton wool.
