Description: Fabulous authentic antique hand painted and signed by the artist C.F. Mosteller French Limoges tankard pitcher. 12" H, 4" diameter mouth, 6" footprint. Signature looks like Mostellet but research shows Mosteller would be the artist who painted this. See markings on base. The base and bottom rim are more a light green than shows here under florescent light as brown! Belonged to Grandma, I was given it after she died in the early 1980s in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tasteful and will always be in style, unlike some of the kitschy flashy pieces, don't you think?
