Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1959 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Super Faded/Aged Shell Pink. 1959 was the year when the traditional one-piece maple neck was changed to a rosewood fingerboard and the long-standing 3-ply pickguard was adopted. This instrument is the "Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1959 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Super Faded/Aged Shell Pink" that focuses on '59. This instrument features a Stratocaster from that year that was popular for its fat sound, and is made of standard wood materials such as an alder body, maple neck, and slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard. It follows the specifications of the year, such as the logo without a PAT number, clay dot position marks, and 11-point pickguard. The maple neck is quarter-sawn and has a "1959 "D"" shape. It has a "Neck Spec 1st:.800,12th:.980" with a fatter grip than the standard "60 STYLE OVAL C". The fingerboard radius is 9.5 inches, and the frets are narrow and tall (6105), making it easy for players to handle. The hand-wound "HW FAT 50'S STRAT" pickups produce a clear and fat sound. The controls are master volume, front and center tone, and rear tone. The color is finished in "Super Faded/Aged Shell Pink", which is based on the motif of a heavily faded shell pink. Combined with the Journeyman Relic, it has a very nice atmosphere. Weight: Approximately 3.61 kg(7.9 lbs) (without arm). Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
