Description: This is a (1772-83) Mexico Silver 1/2 Real from the El Cazador Shipwreck NGC Genuine. The El Cazador sank in 1784 in the Gulf of Mexico with New Orleans, Louisiana as its destination. The ship never made it and was never located until 1993 when a fishing boat lowered its net into the waters and got snagged. They pulled the net onboard to find a trove of treasure with Spanish silver coins! The first two images are provided by the NGC Photography Team and can be downloaded.
