They are now legal. I visited there in November 0f 2016 and brought back several parcels of Ruby cabochons. This particular package is of eight rubies. They are oval and have nice color. These rubies have a total weight of 33.3 carats. Carat weights for each of the six stones are range from 2 Carats to over 7 carats. Each one would make a nice ring stone or pendant, or decoration on a designer handbag, or use all eight in a bracelet.Weight of each stone:7.25, 5.16, 4.51, 3.24, 3.40, 2.87, 2.75, 2.48 Carats Burmese Rubies are considered to be the finest in the world. These stones are guaranteed to be from Burma (not Mozambique), are solid stones (not glass filled), and untreated. Our rubies are priced at 20.00 per carat which is an exceptional value.
