Description: I purchased this on a trip to Egypt in 2001from a papyrus shop near the Giza pyramids. It is unusual for several reasons. 1) It features Horus in beautiful blues. This is uncommon. 2) It is larger than typical papyrus paintings. The overall size is 25” in length and 17” wide. The image size is 19” long x 11.5” wide. 3) The papyrus is dark brown. To get this darker color, it is aged in water longer than the light papyrus. It is in very good condition. It has been kept in the mailing tube (see pic) since purchasing it.
