Includes 299 illustrations and covers a wide range of topics including civil, military and religious architecture, tombs, fine and industrial arts. The vellum binding is soiled and darkened, corners are bumped. Gilt decoration is still reasonably bright. The front cover is mildly bowed. The untrimmed page edges are a bit browned and soiled. Endpapers are browned with light stains. Hinges are intact, slight gutter separation in a few spots but binding is tight. Contents are clean with mild age toning and a few spots of light foxing. 328 pp. An uncommon edition.
