Weight 13.48 grams. Her amazing pieces are highly collectible and sought after by native American and tribal jewelry collectors, and museums because of her unique and iconic serpent designs. From the research I have done on Effie Calavaza jewelry, she almost always used sleeping beauty turquoise in her pieces. I cannot verify that the stones in here are actually sleeping beauty turquoise, but I am working on finding an expert to authenticate the mine origin of the stones. Until then the piece is priced accordingly. There are total of seven pieces by this artist tune to be available in my store so keep a lookout! This piece is one of the narrow with bangles with an open back so they are adjustable, but please be careful. The band is 6.5 mm thick x 4 1/2 mm deep And the bracelet is 2 3/8” diameter width. It is intricately decorated with beautiful hammer work and this amazing delicate dual (2) rattlesnakes design that Swirls and weaves in and around the gemstones until they intertwine, with the heads bordering on either side of the center turquoise oval nugget. On the back, the pieces signed stamped “Effie C Zuni.” All of these pieces have been authenticated by three different experts one of whom is a research assistant for a well-known published author of native American jewelry artist Hallmarks.
