Description: We can make keychains out of most of the slides in our inventory for free--just message us! For 12 years our store has sold 35mm fine art slides and now we are making them into these cool keychains that make the perfect gift for yourself or someone else! All are from the collections of universities that used to project them in Art and architecture classes. If you aren?t familiar with slides, just know that you need to hold the slide up to the light to fully see the image. The slides are vintage--30-60 years old and we also reuse the plastic sleeves that they were stored in, so there are often some slight scuffs or imperfections or the plastic covering may not look machine cut and perfect (we make these by hand in my home) so they are sold As-is. The slides are a 2 inch square. The plastic sleeves that cover the slide make it water resistant but not water proof--they are open at the bottom (sometimes leaving a little bit of the slide peeking through) and closed on the other 3 sides. Some people might wonder: can a slide that has been turned into a keychain still be used in a projector? The answer is yes--simply remove the plastic cover and keychain.
