Well Framed. Reference: Harris 65. Edouard Manet was French painter born in Paris on the year of 1832. His name is well known for starting the era of realism. Some of Manets early works took inspirations from another realism well known artist named Gustave Courbet. His talents of art were not very well appreciated during his own time but that did not deter him from his devotion to art. His work usually focuses on scenes of daily life with many details purposely left simple. His more realistic approach rather than the idealized view of certain subjects earned many negative critiques. However, his work would eventually become realized near the end of his life and he became one of the biggest name in art history. He unfortunately passed away on the year of 1883 but his works continued to live on. Buyer pays shipping.
