He almost looks like he's playing a flute, with another instrument behind him. The background is off-white painted on board, and the man is painted very thinly. Part of the look was created with a brush, and part by scratching the painted surface to give it depth. One photo has three arrows pointing out a small dent, a tiny chip in the paint on one of the feet, and a small one below it along the edge. The back has a label from the frame shop. The corners of the frame has some small chips, and more chips on the front of the frame below the signature. The shipping cost includes insurance and signature confirmation.
