Description: Edme Samson Leboeuf Style Hand Painted Pink Rose Floral Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer Nice 19th century porcelain coffee can and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink roses, blue and orange flowers intertwined with gold bands, gold laurel leaves, and a pink ribbon. Has gold floral sprigs along the bottom of the cup and in the center of the saucer. Scalloped gold gilding to the edge and gold gilding to the handle of the cup. Marked on the bottom with a gold crown above the letter A. This is a pseudo / spurious Leboeuf Paris mark. Also marked with a gold conjoined double S indicating it was made by Edme Samson in Paris. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 inches wide.
