He has a great head photo in the book as well as two sports team shots (see attached scans.) Ed's variety show ran from 1947 to 1971 and was the longest tenured show in TV History. The Beatles debut in the U.S. (and subsequent appearances) were with Ed. You may never see another copy of this book again! It’s over 100 years old with a soft cover and string binding. It’s unique in that the page block is staple bound, but not attached directly to the soft cover. It is attached by string binding, which is 100% intact and in great shape. As might be expected, the covers show some wear, but far less than you’d expect for a book of this age and design. The bottom corner of the front cover is missing. The edges of the covers show wear and some creases, but the covers themselves are in great shape. There is age-toning on the front facing page of the book. There is a small notch on the long edge of the page block toward the back of the book, but this does not affect any of Ed’s photos at all.
