Description: This piece was obtained by a couple who traveled for pleasure. We are unsure of its exact origin. The carving is very detailed and well done. It has a sliding wood door and secret compartment under the base. The door fits very tightly and could use some sanding to slide more freely. The compartment measures 7" x 1-5/8" x 1-5/8". There are some minor scuffs or signs of use associated with previous ownership and long-term storage on the carving however, it displays very well with deep rich wood tones and colors. This would make a nice centerpiece or display piece for and room. The overall condition is EUC excellent used condition.
