Early-WWII USMC M1941 P41 Lower Pack DQP Brass Rivet Depot Made Combat Pack

Description: Original USMC Early WWII P41 Lower Pack This pack is Named to a J. N. MARCIN on the front flap. I have not researched this Marine but should be worth looking up. Manufactured by the Philadelphia QuarterMaster Depot or (DQP) This pack has a single missing squared tab on the front left strap. There is a small stain on the leftside on the front flap. A very light stain is present horizontally on the reverse. All existing brass rivets, buckles and tabs are clean and corrosion free. The top connecting strap and its hardware are solid and clean. There are no holes or tears on this pack. This riveted P41 Lower Pack is one of the earlier models of the Marine packs. It has very good mustard khaki color and light green trim. Material feels good and strong. It is in very good condition that shows little use. There is no DQP stamp on the inside ear flap, most likely worn off since they were stamped lightly from factory or maybe never stamped. Overall a very nice named lower pack that are not easy to find. Definitely worth researching the Marine this pack belonged to.
