TITLE: Early to Mid 20th C Bermuda Gouache Large House or Hotel Ocean Front Sailboats DESCRIPTION: An excellent circa 1920s-30s 13.75 x 30 inch original watercolor and gouache showing a massive Bermuda waterfront estate. It is a very large residence, with native shrubs in front, and a rocky shoreline. Two sailboats are shown racing at lower left. At the center of the lower edge there is a pencil inscription that appears to read 'Landefield' or something like that. Could be the artist, or possibly the name of the area or even the name of the estate. Nicely executed in muted colors. If you currently have a large mansion in Bermuda, or just wish you did, this may be for you.
