Early Planters Pennant Peanuts Embossed Glass Store Display Advertising Jar

Description: Here is a great old Planters "Pennant" Peanuts eight-sided glass store display jar. This jar has embossed advertising or graphics in the glass on all sides, including the iconic "Mr. Peanut", 5c markings, and a "Sold Only in Printed Planters Red Pennant Bags" marking on the back side. More importantly though, this jar includes a rarely seen original paper label on the front showing off Mr. Peanut and the brand name, price tag, etc. The colors on the paper label are still vibrant after all these years, and the condition is good for the age of this piece. The label is not actively peeling off of the glass, and is solid / stable. It does show some wear however, but nothing that takes away too much from this incredible survivor! This jar does come with its original lid, which fits the top nicely. The glass is in nice condition overall, with only a few small chips along the edge of the lid and top opening - which I have detailed in the photos. I have not cleaned this piece whatsoever. I will leave that to the new owner! Measurements have been included in the pictures as well. Please look at photos to get a better idea of condition.
