The optical element has a light yellow coating. Industar-61 L/Z is an interesting lens with an amazing picture and fixed focal length 50mm. The diaphragm has 6 blades. The iris control ring rotates smoothly, stopping at fixed values. At closed apertures, the lens produces almost even circles in the blurred area. Focusing range from 0.3 meter to infinity. Aperture has fixed values from 2.8 to 16.0. Industar-61 L/Z is a very sharp lens, this is not surprising, all Industars are made according to the Tessar optical scheme. Due to its excellent sharpness and design, the lens is perfect for macro photography using macro rings. The lens has a good contrast transmission and resolution even at the edges of the frame.
