Description: Early Francisco Rebajes Modernist Heart Leaves Copper Cuff Bracelet. This 1.5” wide bracelet with stylized leaves was made in the 1940s by jewelry artist Francisco Rebajes. Rebajes had a shop in Greenwich Village, NYC and his work was featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the 1939 World’s Fair. This piece is about 6.25” around with a 1” opening. It has its wonderful original patina. As copper is quite pliable, the opening can easily be made larger. The inside of the bracelet is gray metal to keep your wrist from turning green which happens in reaction to copper. It is prominently signed Rebajes (with his infinity sign for the s) at one end. Please look at and enlarge the photos as they are part of the description. Ships with USPS Ground Advantage mail. Please add me to your saved sellers and check out my other listings.
