Description: This fat little 4 ½” Black Hard Rubber CONKLIN CRERSCENT-FILLER is in very good condition. With crisp 40P stamping at the barrel end and full Toledo imprint on the barrel, there are no chips or cracks and no digs or bites to this very early example with Pat Dates of 1891, 1901 and 1907. The Gold Filled hardware is terrific, the script Conklin clip shows no brassing, the extra wide band is equally nice with initials C.C.C. - the Crescent Filler is upright and in good shape – not always the case. The 14K gold Very Flexible Conklin Toledo nib has wear to the lettering and one of the tines is missing some but not all the iridium – still noticeable but it looks like a bit remains. This is an early and very attractive Crescent Filler, welcome in any collection - ** All our pens are sold as acquired from local estates, Untested - buyer pays 5.95 safe bubble shipping and tracking in USA More than just a pretty picture.
