Description: This is a very rare, Havemeyers & Elder (later Domino) Sugar Refinery bag completely intact and stitched. Condition report: Ink is still readable / visible soiling is moderate to heavy in places but overall this is a gorgeous 100% intact 25 pound sugar sack and it’s an original piece! One of earliest pieces of NYC industrial history we have found! Very very early and in great condition given its pre civil war age.
