Description: For sale is this antique, gelatin silver, glass plate negative from the early 1900's showing a Camera Display Window showcasing Ansco products. The size of the negative is approximately 7" x 5" This was in a dry plate negative box with 1916 - 1918 written on the outside, but I don't know if those dates pertain to this negative though. I don't know the location of where this store was, but this negative was with a few other glass negatives of window displays from the same store and one of the other store window negatives had a sign that said Greensboro Chautauqua May 5 to 11. The name Chautauqua was directly below the name Greensboro. There is some flaking to the edges, there are some scratches, fading around the edges, an etched spot to the lower right corner, and I haven't cleaned the negative.
