Description: This is an early diamond pattern mold blown whiskey flask from the 1700s or early 1800 period....it has diamond quilted pattern around the inside surface of the glass with ribbed base that comes to a point....rough pontil scar with some black iron deposit....sheared lip....aqua....oval teardrop shape....it will stand upright on its own....8"tall...Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except a natural pontil flake from when the pontil rod was snapped off the bottom. Some light surface wear on the sides. One small streak of faint inside haze. I guarantee this flask is authentic and over 200 years old. I believe it was blown at a New England or New Jersey glasshouse......
