Description: I have up for sale a wonderful hard to find circa 1946 Earl Moran Brown & Bigelow 4-3/4" x 6-1/8" Card Stock Calendar Card Top from an advertising calendar. This is an early illustration of Norma Jeane prior to her becoming known as Marilyn Monroe. It's one of the harder to find Norma Jeane pre Marilyn Monroe / Earl Moran illustrations and dates to 1946 .The painting was reproduced as figure 626 in The Great American Pin-Up by Charles G. Martignette and Louis K. Meisel, Taschen, 1996 , it sold for $83, 650 back in 2011. Although this card is cropped / the top cut off , its still a wonderful piece of history showing Marilyn at her most vibrant and happiest . I have provided lots of information and nice pics .
