Description: This is an Early American Pattern Glass biscuit jar in the #331 Block pattern that was made by George Duncan & Sons circa 1889. They make 3 different sizes and styles of biscuit jars and this is the #1 jar that stands 9 1/2" tall by about 6" in diameter. It has some factory roughness around the to edge but no chips. There is some kind of an internal heat or annealing crack in the bottom of the jar that you can see in the last 2 pictures.
