Description: This set of four flint glass goblets are in the Mt. Vernon Grape Vine aka Ribbed Grape pattern by Cape Cod Glass Works of Sandwich, Massachusetts. They date to about 1860. Each glass measures approximately 6 1/8" tall and 3 3/8" wide at the foot. Two of the glasses have quite a bit of white residue on the exterior of the foot and bowl, and some to the interior. One of these glasses also has two small chips to the foot. The other two glasses look much better, with a little bit of cloudiness to the interior of the bowls. There is a production flaw on three of the glasses, a small protruding bump at the seem, at the top of the glass. There are closeups of this in the last grouping of pictures. I washed these in soap and water, but perhaps a more in-depth cleaning would improve the white residue appearance. I was able to scrape away some of it on the base of the foot. It is a nice hard to find pattern. Please see my pictures and thanks for looking! Fragile items are packaged securely and with care.
