Description: Here we have a very American Wigeon, Baldpate; a Drake duck hunting decoy by Madison Mitchell, of Havre de Grace Maryland. I'm guessing circa 1950's-1960's. It is a working decoy; solid wood, with painted eyes. With all original hardware below. The Baldpate is in very good used condition, solid body, with strong original paint and hardware. A few very small rubs etc. This is a working piece that found its place on a shelf all this time. See photos for the full picture. Measurements each = 15" long by 6" wide by 9" high.
