The hardened nitrided steel gives the rocker arm maximum surface hardness, the DLC treatment (Diamond-like Carbon) ensures low friction and extreme abrasion resistance. The rocker arms are subject to maximum accelerations of up to 34,000 m/s2. These components, which weigh only 69 g, are small but extremely durable. Component that can oxidize over time.
