The yellow wire has three functions: a single tap to 12V+ will change the flash pattern of the current mode (wire color); a triple tap to 12V+ will change the color combination; tying the yellow wire of multiple units will synchronize the unit’s flash patterns. Connect the white wire to 12V+ to alternate the unit in question. The self-contained internal flasher and driver eliminates the need for a bulky and unsightly in-line flasher that many hideaways are known for.
