DS External Controller Mod [by Loopy] Install Service (Buyer Sends In Console)

Description: This listing is for a controller mod installation service for the original Nintendo DS. You must provide your own console. Ignore the shipping estimate. Turnaround time is 1 day from when I receive it. Total time is about a week. Listing includes the installation, the controller mod board, 2 controller cables, and shipping to buyer. Does not cover buyer's shipping to me. CURRENTLY ONLY INSTALLING IF IT ALREADY HAS A CAPTURE CARD, OR IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GETTING ONE INSTALLED. Reasoning below. This will change later to include unmodified DSes. I also offer this for the original 3DS XL, or the assembled board itself for DIY. Check my other listings. Cables can be for SNES, N64, GameCube, or Wii Classic controllers. You will get 2 of your choosing. Mayflash's GC to Wii and S/NES to Wii adapters work with the Wii Classic cables, if you are undecided. The Home button is permanently unmapped on the controller board because the Home button combination interferes with the soft reset combination on some controller types. The Wii Classic controller Home button can still be mapped to whatever you want. By default, the left analog stick (center stick on N64) is mapped to the DPAD. The right stick is mapped to ABXY in the matching direction. The Z button on the GameCube is mapped to Select to mimic the Game Boy Player's control scheme. The Z button on the N64 is mapped to L. SNES is 1 to 1. If you use an adapter, the controller type is what it adapts to. Example: mayflash's GC to Wii adapter, the controller mod will see it as a Wii Classic controller, and Z will not act as Select like stated above. Details of the installation: the controller port uses a USB C port and takes over the original charge port. This is why I am only accepting it if it already has a capture card, or if you are going to get one; the capture card port can charge the DS (if you have the micro USB variant, I'll do the "charge mod" to enable this). A thin flex PCB is used to connect the controller mod board to the DS motherboard, so there's no bulging. If you purchase more than 1 and are interested, I will include a prototype controller splitter that lets you use 1 Wii Classic Controller to control up to 4 other consoles (only works with Wiimote and the DSes). It will not cost you extra. Please understand that it is a prototype and should not affect your decision when purchasing this service.
