Description: D.S. Co. Victorian Tea Caddy Silverplate Description Small D.S. Co. Tea Caddy, hinged, with Repousse Garden Scene, a cartouche on front and back, the front is etched with "EJD" initials. On bottom a series of icons surrounding the mark "D.S. Co.". There are 5 icons surrounding the D.S. mark--- a crown, two crossed mallets (I believe), "8S", a dagger, and an anchor, below the mark is the pattern no. "5212". I cannot find evidence that this is the mark of Derby Silver Company, so the manufacturer is undetermined. Measures 4 1/2"high x 2 3/4"wide x 3 1/2"deep. Very good condition, some silverplate loss on the lid, I initially cleaned the top and lessened the silverplate loss, so with more cleaning it may decrease the loss.
