Custom made from Dragon, DID, or BBI smoke grenades and handles. One of these grenades was issued to most Rangers assaulting the German big gun battery at Pointe du Hoc at Omaha Beach on D-Day. They were used to destroy the guns as they burn white hot and will melt and fuse most metals. They were also issued to tank crews to destroy a tank if it had to be abandoned.
