ONLY POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. The DPx Gear line of knives ere put together by Robert Young Pelton, he of “Come Back Alive” and “World’s Most Dangerous Places” book fame. I’m a big fan of these – great quality, well made and well thought out knives. This is his “Urban” take on a tactical knife, with Titanium frames. Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches long overall, closed. Stone washed blade measures approximately 2 3/4 inches long, edge only. Obverse blade etched with RYP (Robert Young Pelton) initials. Etched to reverse, just below the tang, “CPM S35VN”. Top of blade etched “181/300”. Wrench notch to the blade spine and three thumb grooves. Powder coated (?) matt gray-green titanium frame and frame lock. Hexagonal lanyard hole to rear. Sprung (Titanium?) pocket clip, Tip Up with glass breaker to top. Rear of frame stamped “DPX Gear (R) USA”. Spacer etched “DPX HEST/F 027 0917”. Smooth opening, detent to close. Unused and unsharpened, complete with box, DPx Gear patch, box sleeve. This knife is mint, but being picky there is a light surface scratch to obverse frame – no attempt made to clean it up. The Wenger is, as noted, heavily used and I have not been able to identify it. I has a main blade which has been extensively sharpened and worn down over the years, a very odd tool which I have not been able to identify, a file, cap lifter, awl and Phillips head screwdriver. Damage to the reverse scale and the Wenger shield is all but worn away. Please see the detailed photos which form part of the description. Don’t hesitate to contact seller if you have questions.
